With winter coming to a close, the 2023 boating season is getting near, and ENB will be ready to start up our mobile pumpout program again in May. We will be operating May through October along the north coast of the western Long Island Sound, from Bridgeport, CT to Locust Point, NY. There will be many upgrades on our boats this year you may not notice, including new wiring and rebuilt pumps, just to ensure the service remains in effect throughout the season. Look for our annual appeal letter in the mail this spring to help support our non-profit and the work we do to keep the Sound cleaner. Make a tax-deductible donation today to support our mission and keep sewage at bay!

Nearly 3,000 Vessel and Island Pumpouts Completed during 2022!
ENB directed tens of thousands of gallons of sewage from vessel and island waste tanks to sewage treatments plants during 2022. Our fleet of boats covering the north shore of the Western Long Island Sound were busy all season thanks to the requests from boaters to responsibly dispose of on board waste. The whole Long Island Sound is designated a No-Discharge Zone, and ENB encourages boaters to do the right thing to protect the environment by answering requests for pumpouts. Thanks to all those who participated in our program this year, and as we get our hard working boats back in shape for 2023, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our non-profit organization. ENB must raise 25% of our budget each year to continue operating and providing free pumpouts to boaters along our large service area. With ENB running each season, you can be sure marine sewage pollution is not the environmental concern it would be without our service. Thank you for your support!
Over 2,000 Vessel Pumpouts Completed Already this Season!
ENB has completed over 2,000 waste tank pumpouts on vessels in the western Sound so far this 2022 season, ensuring thousands of gallons of sewage is kept out to the marine environment. Thank you boaters for using our mobile pumpout service for your waste tank needs along the north shore of the western Sound, from Bridgeport, CT to Locust Point, NY. We plan on working our boats until the end of October.
This year we have had a spate of pump issues involving clogs in the hoses, disrupting our operations and taking a boat out of service. Please remember not to flush anything down your marine toilet other than biodegradable toilet paper. This will help us to keep our pumps and hoses from getting clogs. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and thank you for helping us keep the Sound clean!
