ENB has completed over 2,200 pumpout requests already so far this 2021 boating season.  For many boaters docked or transient along the north shore of the Western Sound ENB’s pumpout boats are the only option to empty their waste tanks responsibly, without dumping overboard.  We are on track to complete well over 3,000 vessel tank pumpouts for the 2021 boating season.  Our fleet of pumpout boats and boat operators work hard all season long to ensure marine-based sewage does not get the chance to degrade water quality for swimmers and fishermen.  Thank you for supporting our program by using pumpout boats!

All ENB mobile pumpout service locations for vessels located along the north shore of the Western Long Island Sound will be open for requesting a pumpout starting May 1st.  The request system on this website will be activated  for taking requests a couple of days before May 1st.  Boaters will receive an email confirmation when request is entered and also when the pumpout is completed.  ENB’s pumpout program will run until the end of October and will prevent tens of thousands of sewage leaks into the Sound.  Thank you for using our service! 

After a long, cold and snowy winter, ENB is preparing our boats for getting out on the Sound for 2021.  We are looking forward to the warmer weather out on the water, protecting water quality with our fleet of pumpout boats.  Look for our annual appeal in the mail to support our 2021 season which is scheduled to start in May.

ENB has had our best season, with over 3,600 pumpouts of boat waste tanks this 2020 season.  Our fleet of pumpout boats, which cover No Discharge Areas (NDAs) from Bridgeport, CT to Throgs Neck, NY along the North Shore of the Western Long Island Sound, are a convenience to boaters and also a benefit to swimmers, fishermen, and shellfishing in the Sound.  By decreasing the frequency of illegal overboard discharges into the tepid water in our coves and bays where most boats are docked, ENB is helping to keep these low circulation areas clean and healthy for recreation.  Help us keep the Sound clean by using our pumpout boats instead of dumping, and help us fulfill our mission by making a tax-deductible donation to ENB today!
